In the center of the disc – portrait of Anton Chekhov and the date in two lines: “1860” and “1904”, around the portrait – inscriptions of the names of magazines – left: “The Shards”, above: “The Alarm Clock”, right: “The Dragonfly”, below on the mat field of the sheet – facsimile signature of the writer: “A. Chekhov”.
Anton Pavlovich Chekhov (1860-1904) was a great Russian writer, gifted dramatist, scientist and physician by profession. The most important thing about his work is that many of his works have become classics of world literature and his plays are performed in theaters all over the world.
