Belarus sailing ship Vespucci 2010
Amerigo Vespucci is the third coin issue of the National Bank of Belarus in the series “Sailing ships”. It is one of the most magnificent and famous ships in the world.
The silver coins were minted by the Polish Mint.
On the obverse of the coins in the upper part in the center is stamped the national emblem of the Republic of Belarus with the inscription in a circle: “RESPUBLIC OF BELARUS”. In the center you can see in the background of a sea chart – stylized image of a wind rose and a beautiful hologram; below – “20 rubles”; to the left of the denomination is indicated the year of minting, the alloy grade and the mark of the Polish mint.
On the back in the center you can see one of the largest sailing ships Amerigo Vespucci depicted against the background of a seascape, on the left side a smaller picture with the inscription “AMERIGO VESPUCCI” in original writing below.
