Big Five Series I Gold Proof Collector’s Pack

The SA Mint/South African Mint issued the “Big Five” series between 2019 and 2021, following the great success of the so-called Nature series. This series of coins is dedicated to five famous animals from Africa. These animals are: the elephant, the lion, the rhinoceros, the buffalo and the leopard.

All gold coins appear in the highest minting quality “Proof”= PP/Polished Plate and with a very small mintage of only 500 pieces per motif. Each coin comes with a numbered certificate of authenticity. The coins are encapsulated and packaged in a fine box.

In the years 2021 to 2023, the five gold coins of the continuation series Big Five II will be released.

This Big Five offer as a complete Big Five Series I collection is currently unique worldwide and is only valid as long as all 5 Big Five gold coins are available in our store. Nevertheless, you are welcome to buy these gold coins individually.
