This is the Mexico Centenario 1943 gold coin with a value of 50 pesos from the mintage year 1943. One of the special things about this vintage is that, after a hiatus since 1931, this was again the first vintage of 50 pesos minted by the Banco de Mexico and had a circulation of only 89,400. Another distinctive feature is that instead of the nominal, the fineness of the coin has been struck twice.
