100 pesos 1990 Juan de la Cosa NGC PF68 Ultra Cameo
You see here the 100 pesos gold coin from Cuba from 1990 with the motive “Juan de la Cosa” from the series “Hispanic-American figures”.
This series of coins is dedicated to the four main figures of the discovery of America: Christopher Columbus, the discoverer of America, Ferdinand and Isabella, the Spanish king and queen, and Juan de la Cosa, who made the first map on which America is marked.
This coin has a small edition of only 250 pieces.
Additionally, this gold coin has been certified by the NGC with the PF68 Ultra Cameo grade. As of today, there are only two coins that have ever been graded better at the NGC.
