100 Pesos 1991 Pinzon Brothers NGC PF69 Ultra Cameo
You see here the 100 pesos gold coin from Cuba from 1991 with the motive “Pinzón Brothers” from the series “Hispanic-American figures”.
This gold coin was dedicated to the Pinzón brothers. The Pinzón brothers, natives of Palos, the port from which Columbus’ fleet sailed, were sailors who participated with Christopher Columbus in the discovery of America. They were captains of the ships La Pinta and la Niña, while Columbus (captain of the expedition) was on the Santa María. A third brother, Francisco Martín, also participated in the expedition as captain.
This coin has a small edition of only 200 pieces.
Additionally, this gold coin has been certified by the NGC with the PF69 Ultra Cameo grade. This also means that we have a top pop here and no coin of this issue has ever been better certified by the NGC.
