Krugerrand 2020 Proof 2 oz Silver Coin First Edition

This is the 2020 2 oz Krugerrand silver coin in Proof/PP (Polished Plate) mint quality. The year 2020 also marks the year of first issue for the 2oz silver coin. The maximum print run for this vintage is only 10,000 copies.

Front:

The obverse of the Krugerrand gold coin features the world-famous portrait of Paul Kruger, after whom the series of Krugerrand coins was named. Paul Kruger, then President of South Africa (1883 to 1902), founded the mint from which the South African Mint emerged. On the edge of the coin was stamped the country of issue in English and Afrikaans.

Back cover:

The reverse of the Krugerrand silver coin features a springbok motif with a stylized South African steppe landscape in the background. Above this motif is embossed the name of the coin. Likewise, the coin’s fine weight, fineness, and precious metal are shown on the obverse of the coin.

The silver coin is packed in a box and comes with a certificate.
