50 Córdobas Ruben Dario – 100 years birthday
Celebrate the 100th anniversary Celebrate the 50th birthday of Ruben Dario with this stunning 50 córdobas coin from Nicaragua. Issued in 1967, this commemorative coin is made of 900 gold and weighs 35.6 grams with a diameter of 35 mm. The obverse shows the coat of arms of Nicaragua with value, fineness and monogram below, surrounded by a legend. The reverse shows a bust of Ruben Dario with his head resting in his hand and his name at the top, with the commemoration and date at the bottom. This coin is a real collector’s item, with a limited edition of 15,500 and was minted by Huguenin in Le Locle, Switzerland.
