This is the very popular 1982 Panda 1 Oz Gold Coin from China. This copy is limited to only 13,532 editions worldwide and for this reason is particularly popular with collectors and enthusiasts around the world. This gold coin is produced and issued by China Mint.
On the obverse of the coin is a panda holding a bamboo branch in his arms and the inscription 99.9% (which stands for the fineness of the gold of the coin) and Chinese characters.
On the reverse of the Panda China gold coin is the Hall of Harvest Prayer, which is also known as the Temple of Heaven. This temple complex is located in the south of the cosmopolitan city of Beijing and has been part of the UNSECO World Heritage Site since 1998. Above the Temple of Heaven there is a Chinese character: “Zhonghua Renmin Gongheguo”, which translates as “People’s Republic of China”. Also visible is the year of minting, which is 1982.
At the China Mint red spots are (unfortunately) not uncommon. Thus, these can not be claimed with Gold Pandas.
The coin is encapsulated.
