Rwanda Nautical Gold 1 Oz 2021 Sedov

This is the 2021 Rwanda Nautical Sedov 1 Oz PP, the 5th issue of the series featuring famous sailing ships. It shows a picture of the Sedov, a sailing ship which was built as Magdalene Vinnen II in Kiel in 1921. Today sailing under the Russian flag, the ship is one of the largest sailing ships in the world. It was named after the polar explorer Georgi Yakovlevich Sedov. Around the edge of the coin is the inscription “Nautical Ounce”, “2020” and “1 oz Fine Gold 999”.

The reverse of the coin features the Rwandan coat of arms with the inscription “Banki Nkuru Y’U Rwanda” and “Amafaranga 100 Ijana”.

The mintage of this coin is 100 pieces worldwide, which makes it very popular, especially among collectors.
